Three-Day Festival to Celebrate Shrimad Rajchandraji’s 153rd Birth Anniversary

Kartik Purnima is an opportunity to express devotion and drench the heart in the essence of Param Krupalu Dev, Shrimad Rajchandraji’s infinite grace.

A stream of emotions flowed within the hearts of devotees worldwide through the virtual celebrations of Shrimad Rajchandraji’s 153rd Birth Anniversary!

Memories of the Yugpurush Sesquicentennial (150 years) celebrations were refreshed by the rebroadcasting of those wondrous moments including special events, pravachans by Pujya Gurudevshri and saints. Please click here to view them all.

Seva activities started in 1979 under the able guidance of Pujya Gurudevshri, received an organised form in 2010 under the banner of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.

Volunteers shared various notable accomplishments of the NGO as a way to commemorate its 10 years of selfless service.

A new, rich in content, bilingual website of Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth was also launched during this event by Pujya Gurudevshri.

Finally, volunteers offered several awards at the Lotus Feet of Shrimad Rajchandraji, including the tenth consecutive win of the “Highest Fundraising NGO” accolade for the Tata Mumbai Marathon.

While seekers celebrated worldwide, the city of Surat offered its respects to Shrimad Rajchandraji by naming a road in His honour.

The canal road, opposite the Nageshwar Parshanath temple along the Surat-Dumas main road, in the city of Surat was renamed ‘Shrimad Rajchandra Marg’.

Dignitaries present for the event included member of the Surat Vidhansabha Shrimati Jhankhanaben Patel, Surat Mahanagar-Palika’s deputy mayor – Shri Niravbhai Shah, Surat Corporator – Shrimati Sudhaben Nahta, Surat Mahanagar-Palika’s member of the governing side – Shri Girijashankarbhai Mishra, and the ex-president of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Shri Ashokbhai Shah among others.

Pujya Gurudevshri devotionally began the auspicious day of Kartik Punam by rocking the cradle of the Lord. Devotees were also blessed to do pujan of Shrimadji’s Lotus Feet in the Amphitheatre.

During the evening of in the evening assembly, seekers had the honour of listening to Pujya Gurudevshri’s discourse on the virtues required by seekers to embark on the journey into the formless, inner sky; and the role of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission.

In gratitude, the three-day celebrations may be best summed up by the words of Pujya Gurudevshri that devotees have seen the feats of Shrimad Rajchandraji, and now the world will see how His holy name will accomplish great work!
