Stretches for Quadriceps

Yoga3 min

We all tend to experience tightness or pain in our legs after we have over exerted our bodies, especially post running, cycling, climbing or just sitting for long hours. This is due to accumulated tension in the upper thigh muscles, also known as quadriceps. These are the ones we tend to ignore. Stretching them keeps our legs and knees strong, improves posture and also releases tension in the lower back and hips. So let us see three simple asanas – one standing, one seated and one supine, all of which offer a great stretch to the thighs and hip flexors!
