Nourishing the Youth with Sports and Spirituality Capturing the minds of the new generation, Sahebji’s Football Club has been a transformational milestone in the lives of hundreds of youngsters. Soon after the impressive Season 2 of Dharampur Premier League that culminated in the memorable World Cup Finals of Sahebji’s Football Club at London in December 2018, the planning for the 3rd Season began in earnest. Wholehearted preparations for a designated play area in the Ashram with suitable amenities to facilitate sporting activities began in full swing. A total of 46 teams comprising of almost 700 players and team managers along with hundreds of viewers gathered on the evening of 5th April for the inauguration of the newly constructed Shrimad Rajchandra Sports Arena, by the pious hands of Pujya Gurudevshri. The Master endearingly unveiled the complex name board. Along with the chitrapats of Bhagwan Mahavir and Param Krupalu Dev, He proceeded to inaugurate the 4 turfs with the sponsors. Spreading over an area of 60,000 sq. ft., Shrimad Rajchandra Sports Arena will be a ground for various games such as football, cricket, volleyball, throwball, basketball etc. The turfs laden with artificial grass give the complex a plush green look. The arena also comprises of stands where spectators can sit comfortably and view the on-going games. In the august presence of Pujya Gurudevshri, amidst great jubilation, the 3rd Season of Dharampur Premier League commenced. The players performed a spirited dance on the tune of Sahebji’s Football Club anthem. Commemorating the 150th birth anniversary year of Pujyashri Ambalalbhai, the theme of the 3rd season has been aptly coined as ‘Rajipo’. The season began with an all-star Marquee Match followed by the regular league matches, through the weekend. On the auspicious day of Gudi Padwa, April 6, marking the commencement of the 150th birth anniversary year of Param Krupalu Dev’s Jewel-like disciple, Pujyashri Ambalalbhai, the very youth which enthusiastically participated in football, devotionally presented a soul- stirring drama ‘Banvu Chhe Marey Taro Ambalal’. The drama was a heartfelt portrayal of how Pujyashri Ambalalbhai transformed his life by the selfless service of Param Krupalu Dev in the prime of his youth. The play intensely inspired devotees and left them in tears as they found themselves in awe of Pujyashri Ambalalbhai’s boundless faith and single-pointed devotion for Param Krupalu Dev. Our heads bow down in deep gratitude at the Lotus Feet of Pujya Gurudevshri, for His tireless efforts in making the spiritual journey of hundreds of young souls, a thrilling experience.
