The Majestic Maharaas Celebrations 2018

Over 2500 seekers assembled at the Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram Dharampur for the grand Maharaas celebrations on the breezy evening of Saturday, 13th October 2018. The event was held in the magnificent amphitheatre under the benevolent gaze of Param Krupalu Dev. The atmosphere was electric, pulsating with enthusiasm and excitement. Dressed in vibrant traditional wear, seekers were in high spirits, eagerly awaiting an opportunity to express their devotion to their Sadguru through the medium of nrutyabhakti.

Young energetic devotees danced with joy and the gathering warmly welcomed Pujya Gurudevshri as He arrived. The sight of the Master paying obeisance to His Divine Beloved was a vision to behold. Shri Jaydeepsingh Solanki – Nagarpalika Pramukh, Dharampur and Shri Arvindbhai Patel – Honourable MLA, present at the occasion, were felicitated by the President of the Mission, Shri Abhaybhai Jasani and trustee Premarpit Maheshbhai Khokhani. The celebrations began with groups of varied ages performing garba and raas around the Param Krupalu Dev’s divine pratimaji. The rounds of garba commenced with the Atmarpit group performing garba in the calm blue meditative light.

Be it a young 7-year old or a spirited 70-year old, all swayed in joy to the melodious bhakti rendition by the Mission’s dedicated bhakti team. As the participants exited the garba area, they were blessed with the invaluable experience of close darshan of Pujya Gurudevshri while walking through the centre aisle.

Then came the friendly competition amongst the groups of different areas, which was won by the South Mumbai group. Onlookers loudly cheered with the sacred name ‘RAJ’, as the enthused participants danced in devotional abandon offering their best at the lotus feet of the Master. All groups were gifted with a priceless photo session with the Master. The momentous evening came to an end with a heartfelt arti.

The gathering dispersed with precious memories to cherish for a lifetime. Salutations to the Enlightened Master, whose limitless love and compassion enfolds all beings.
