On Saturday the 19th April, together with some 300 participants, I will be baring my soles for a Fire Walk on a 15 foot stretch of blazing coals to raise funds for two deserving charities. 1. Nascot Lawn Respite Care Unit for Children with Special Needs in Watford, UK. Nascot Lawn Respite Unit for Children is the only one of its kind in Hertfordshire that provides a high standard of day and overnight care for children with severe learning and physical disabilities. The funds received will be used to create an outdoor area that encourages the development of sensory abilities of touch, smell, sound and sight in these children and provide them with a rich learning and therapeutic experience and 2. Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care's for building a Science College for less privileged students in rural India. The first of its kind in the tribal area, which will allow 500 students each year from disadvantaged backgrounds a chance to enhance their career prospects, climb the social ladder and pursue their dreams. The college will have all the required facilities such as laboratories, classrooms, library etc. and will offer a Degree Course in Science and IT.
