Over 400 enthusiastic participants are expected to undertake this 6.75 km walk through the heart of London in this LOVE OF FAITH - landmark charity walk to spread the universal message of love, compassion and harmony amongst the world's six great faiths, whilst raising awareness and funds to support underprivileged children in some of the less developed countries. This Event is initiated by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur UK and is supported by the Jain Community of UK. The Walk promises to be the largest event from the UK Jain community towards 'A Year of Service' marking the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen. The Love of Faith Walk will raise funds for two deserving charitable institutions that offer exceptional service towards the welfare of less privileged children. 1) SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA LOVE AND CARE (SRLC) - Through various initiatives under the umbrella of its 10-care programme, SRLC aims to improve the lives of thousands of children in rural India by providing health, nutrition and education. 2) SENSE INTERNATIONAL is the only UK based organisation working with deafblind children in some of the least developed countries in the world. They provide specialist training, information and support to ensure that every person living with deaf blindness can achieve their full potential.
