SRMD Divinetouch Presents ‘The Quest for Happiness’

SRMD Divinetouch, a globally relevant value-education initiative for children, hosted a landmark event, The Quest for Happiness, on 16th November at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai. Presented across three shows, the event welcomed over 2,800 attendees, and was graced by the divine presence of Pujya Gurudevshri. Eminent personalities such as Mrs Ashu Suyash, Independent Director, Hindustan Unilever Limited and Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Founder-CEO, Colossa Ventures; Mrs. Fatema Agarkar, Founder-Chairperson, Agarkar Centre of Excellence (ACE); Mrs Meghna Ghai Puri, President, Whistling Woods International; Mrs Mansi Zaveri, Founder, Kidsstoppress; Ms Tanya Khupchandani, Founder-CEO, Elixir Wellness and Mrs Lina Ashar, Founder, Dreamtime Learning, alongside principals from renowned schools across Mumbai, teachers, families, and well-wishers were present on the occasion. The event unveiled the next chapter for the programme, which has impacted over a quarter of a million children and families through its global chain of value-education centres operating across 250-plus locations worldwide.

Directed and choreographed by Sumeet Nagdev, the production brought together over 150 children and teenagers for a breathtaking musical paired with an interactive exhibition that brought timeless values to life through creativity, storytelling, and experiential learning. The celebration commemorated 21 years of SRMD Divinetouch and unveiled its refreshed curriculum – guided by Pujya Gurudevshri’s vision – rooted in timeless wisdom and reimagined to meet the needs of today’s hyperconnected, rapidly evolving world.

Sharing her thoughts on the occasion, Mrs Fatema Agarkar said, “Through the soulful performance, I realised the depth and sensibility that SRMD Divinetouch has given them and it was heartening that the future of this country lies in their goodness. Call it life skills, call it values, call them basic manners… for me it was the spirit that was overwhelmingly positive, the warmth with the goal to keep the future real and humane and the desire to help young children remain grounded and anchored.”

Atmarpit Nemiji, Personal Secretary to Pujya Gurudevshri and Vice President of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur shared, “Happiness doesn’t come to you. It comes from you. You say, ‘I’m happy because I have the best of everything.’ But it’s not that way. You are happy when you can make the best of anything. The best curriculum of life is compassion. The best degree of life is happiness. That is what SRMD Divinetouch is all about.” SRMD Divinetouch offers a continuum learning journey from six months to 16 years through its programmes – Wondertouch, Magictouch, and Spiritualtouch. The initiative is led by dedicated volunteers and enriched with child psychology, with its curriculum being audited by international experts to ensure global credibility and depth. It integrates modern frameworks like Social-Emotional Learning, Inquiry-Based Learning, Erik Erikson’s developmental stages, Dr Masaru Emoto’s findings on emotional intelligence, EFT Tapping, and more.

Through stories, reflection, and age-appropriate psychology, values become something a two-year-old can understand, a five-year-old can practise, and a 16-year-old can live by, strengthening emotional intelligence, relationships, leadership, teamwork, and clarity, so children succeed while staying joyfully anchored within.

Following the overwhelming response at NCPA, The Quest for Happiness was also showcased at the Mahakavi Kalidas Auditorium in Mulund, where over 1,200 attendees experienced the musical and interactive exhibition. The show was attended by esteemed dignitaries including Ms Indrani Banerjee, Principal of Lodha World School and Dr Vemana Rao, Director of the DRDO–Industry–Academia Centre of Excellence at IIT Bombay, who joined other educators and families in celebrating this inspiring movement. The Mulund event reaffirmed the city’s enthusiasm for SRMD Divinetouch’s revitalising programmes; celebrating creativity, wisdom, and timeless values that continue to touch lives across Mumbai.
