Dear Family & Friends Amit and I are taking part in a 6.75 km 'Love of Faith' walk organized by the Jain community. The walk is part of a sustained commitment by the Jain community in building longer lasting inter-faith relations, by celebrating the unity of world religions and spreading the universal message of Love and Harmony. The landmark charity walk will take us through royal parks and historical buildings in the heart of London and will encompass visiting six of the world's great faiths monumental sites. The day will begin with a visit to the Jain temple followed by the walk in Central London, which shall include a visit to the following places of worship: Buddhism - London Fo Guang Temple Hinduism - Radha Krishna Temple Judaism - Liberal Jewish Synagogue Christianity - Westminster Abbey Islam - London Central Mosque The money raised will be distributed amongst 2 charities close to our hearts: 1. Sense International - Improving the lives of deaf and blind children in some of the least developed countries in the world. 2. Love and Care - Making a difference in the lives of rural children in India through health and education.
