Thai Dim Sum


Ingredients(Serves 4):

  • 10 dim sum sheets
  • 1 cup tofu, diced
  • 1 cup zucchini, diced
  • 1 cup yellow and green bell peppers, diced
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp green chilli paste
  • 2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp white pepper powder
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • In a pan add oil, green chilli paste, zucchini, bell peppers and cilantro and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add salt, black and white pepper powder and lime juice. Mix well.
  • Add tofu and cook for 1 minute. Add soy sauce and vegetable stock. Mix well. Allow it to cool.
  • Fill this in dim sum sheets. Bring its edges together to form a disc shaped structure.
  • Steam in a pre-steamed steamer or deep bottomed vessel for 10 minutes until cooked.
  • Serve this with chilli chutney.
