The 250-bed multi-speciality charitable hospital was inaugurated in 2022 in the presence of Pujya Gurudevshri, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the facility virtually. It was envisioned to bridge the gap between advanced medical care and rural accessibility, particularly for underserved communities in South Gujarat.
Shrimad Rajchandra Sarvamangal Hospital is another facility. It is a 24×7 multi-specialty healthcare facility in Surendranagar, Gujarat. Located on Dudharej Road, the hospital provides comprehensive medical care across a range of specialities.
At both these centres, seva takes on a deeply human form: providing treatment, dignity and hope to those who need it most.
Nurturing the Young and Shaping Tomorrow
Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji’s vision extends naturally to the next generation.
Through the SRMD Youth programme, young people are encouraged to explore their potential through the 5S framework of Satsang, Sadhana, Seva, Sanskruti and Sports. Alongside this, Shrimad Rajchandra Divinetouch brings value-based education to children through a global network of centres. SRMD states that the programme reaches more than 250k+ children through 252 centres.

Animal care is another factor in caring for the Earth. Shrimad Rajchandra Jivamaitridham is a 40-acre animal welfare sanctuary and includes a multi-specialty hospital in Dharampur, Gujarat. It provides compassionate care, treatment, and rehabilitation for animals.

In 2023, Claremont School of Theology in the United States conferred upon him an Honorary Doctor of Divinity for his contributions to spirituality and selfless service. He became the institution’s first recipient from India and the first recipient from a non-Christian faith in its 130-year history.
