Caring for Rural Mothers through a Gynaecology Camp
In an effort to enhance maternal care in the lesser-traversed rural regions of South Gujarat, Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre recently conducted a gynaecological screening and health awareness camp.
The event was part of the hospital’s ongoing goal to address the demographic challenges of the area, where the incidence of high-risk pregnancies and premature deliveries is significant.
The camp, which was organised on the occasion of International Women’s Day, was held at a Primary Health Centre in Hanmatmal. Several expectant mothers from more than 15 villages across the local region attended health awareness sessions and underwent comprehensive diagnostic medical screenings. Patients in need of further investigation were referred for check-ups to Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre.
