Thai Dim Sum
Ingredients(Serves 4):
- 10 dim sum sheets
- 1 cup tofu, diced
- 1 cup zucchini, diced
- 1 cup yellow and green bell peppers, diced
- ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable stock
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp green chilli paste
- 2 tsp black pepper powder
- 2 tsp white pepper powder
- Salt to taste
Method
- In a pan add oil, green chilli paste, zucchini, bell peppers and cilantro and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add salt, black and white pepper powder and lime juice. Mix well.
- Add tofu and cook for 1 minute. Add soy sauce and vegetable stock. Mix well. Allow it to cool.
- Fill this in dim sum sheets. Bring its edges together to form a disc shaped structure.
- Steam in a pre-steamed steamer or deep bottomed vessel for 10 minutes until cooked.
- Serve this with chilli chutney.
