The establishment of an Intellectual Property (IP) Cell at Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST) marks a significant step towards strengthening the institution’s culture of innovation, research, and entrepreneurship. As the premier body under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, GUJCOST has played a vital role in promoting scientific advancement, technology development, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) awareness across the state through its Patent Information Centre.
With this initiative, Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth becomes part of a distinguished network of institutions committed to advancing Gujarat’s innovation and intellectual property ecosystem. The IP Cell will serve as a dedicated platform to support students, faculty members, and researchers in transforming creative ideas into protected intellectual assets with meaningful societal and commercial impact.
Through IPR awareness programmes, innovation mentoring, patent facilitation, and industry-academia collaboration, the Cell aims to encourage original thinking, research excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit.
