Refreshing Thousands through Chaas Distribution
As part of a summer outreach initiative, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care volunteers came together to undertake a large-scale chaas (buttermilk) distribution drive across multiple cities in India, serving the refreshing drink to thousands of people exposed to extreme heat conditions. With the support of over 120 dedicated sevaks, the initiative reached community workers, construction workers, roadside dwellers, vendors, cart-pullers, rickshaw drivers, truck drivers, bus drivers, taxi drivers, maids, policemen, and firemen.
Over 1.85 lakh pouches of chaas were distributed across cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jaipur, Kolkata, Nagpur, Pune, Surat, and Vadodara. This initiative witnessed large-scale outreach efforts, reflecting the spirit of collective service and compassion.
Beyond offering relief from the summer heat, the initiative also served as a gesture of gratitude and care towards individuals who work tirelessly every day to support society and keep cities functioning smoothly.
