Asanas For Meditators

The science of Yoga offers asanas and techniques that can be practised at different times during the day by people from different walks of life. Let us acquaint ourselves with a few such asanas and techniques that can be practised in our daily routine.

Meditation is necessary for better spiritual, emotional and mental health. Despite its various advantages, sitting for long periods of time can be a challenge initially. Many seekers experience pain in their legs due to lack of movement, which does not allow them to stay focused in the practice of meditation. It is therefore extremely important to stretch out certain muscles in the hips and lower back to have a physically pleasant meditation session. Let us learn how to prepare ourselves through specific asanas to be performed before meditation and alleviate the unwanted pain and tension.

The Master’s dharmayatra unfolded like a divine festival of the soul. From the moment He set foot on British soil, the country blossomed into a sanctuary of grace, its air humming with anticipation and hearts brimming with veneration. His radiant presence dissolved barriers, awakened inner depths, and gently steered souls closer to the refuge of the self.

Lovely London

Pujya Gurudevshri began His sacred Dharmayatra in the United Kingdom with His divine arrival on 19th June, graciously hosted by Roushab–Hemal Mehta.

Pujya Gurudevshri’s two inspiring discourses filled seekers with renewed zeal on their spiritual journey. He emphasised unwavering devotion to the Lord as the surest path to liberation and inner peace, and urged the cultivation of virtues that allow true religion to blossom within. The Master beautifully shared that a home where the day flows in harmony, adorned with purity, contentment, love, and gentle joy, becomes a true sanctuary of sanctity. Enhancing the gathering’s spirit of holistic well-being was a serene sound bath, offering deep restoration to body, mind, and soul. Through a stirring Sadguru Udghosh Pujya Gurudevshri awakened seekers to the fact that even a moment of this rare human life, so perfectly suited for spiritual growth, is more precious than a sovereign’s entire wealth and to let it slip away in indolence, failing to stay aware of the eternal nature beyond birth and death, is to disgrace this human form countless times over. The afternoon brought joyful learning, while the evening overflowed with devotion, celebration, and nrutyabhakti. The devotees expressed their love and gratitude in varied forms at the lotus feet of the Master.

The London Youth Group was blessed with an unforgettable retreat – a day that felt truly magical in the cherished company of the king of their hearts, Pujya Gurudevshri. By the day’s end, what remained was more than happy recollections; it was a profound imprint on every soul, a radiant reminder of the joy and freedom found in the Master’s loving presence.

Pujya Gurudevshri graced the London Study Group with precious time, deepening their bond through His boundless wisdom and tender grace. In these enchanting moments hearts bloomed, soaking in the rare privilege of His personal guidance. The Master also showered His blessings upon several mumukshus through sacred padhramanis, filling their homes and very beings with sanctity and spiritual upliftment.

Pujya Gurudevshri delivered a soul-touching pravachan, speaking of the astonishing, boundless power of the Enlightened Ones – how they make the visible vanish and the invisible manifest – a wonder so profound that words can never truly capture it. Lord Mayor of Manchester, Councillor Carmine Grimshaw; Councillor Vimal Choksi of Tameside Ward; Councillor Sangita Patel of Tameside and Ashton-under-Lyne and Assistant Commissioner to the Indian High Commission in Manchester, Mr Pradip Kumar Mishra were felicitated.

In every breath, may Your love repeat.

Indebted to You Forever,
United Kingdom Raj Parivar.

Our Lord’s compassion is not merely restricted to humans but flows to all forms of life. The scorching summer heat takes its toll on birds as they find it difficult to obtain water and roam around to quench their thirst. To extend our love towards these birds, who cannot convey their needs, we distributed over 400 water pots to various individuals at three different events. These water pots will offer them a life sustaining refuge. We thank the Lord for instilling in us the sensitivity to expand our care to all living beings.

To help the homeless feed themselves we distributed food, sweets, and buttermilk to over 400 needy people in our vicinity.
