Italian Stuffed Bell Peppers

This innovative recipe of Italian Stuffed Bell Peppers is low in calories and gives a fun twist to your regular pasta. All you need to do is, Spot the Spaghetti!

Ingredients

  • 5 bell peppers
  • 1 & 1/2 cups boiled spaghetti
  • 1 & 1/2 cups boiled rice
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 cup coriander leaves kothmir
  • 3 cups white sauce
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • pepper powder mari
  • 2 tsp margarine
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut bell peppers into halves and remove the seeds.
  2. Mix spaghetti, rice, tomatoes, chilli powder, chilli sauce, coriander leaves and salt. Stuff it in bell peppers.
  3. Place these stuffed bell peppers on a greased oven tray.
  4. Mix white sauce and tomato sauce. Add pepper powder and salt.
  5. Spread this sauce and margarine on bell peppers.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes at 180º C and serve.
