Italian Stuffed Bell Peppers
This innovative recipe of Italian Stuffed Bell Peppers is low in calories and gives a fun twist to your regular pasta. All you need to do is, Spot the Spaghetti!
Ingredients
- 5 bell peppers
- 1 & 1/2 cups boiled spaghetti
- 1 & 1/2 cups boiled rice
- 2 tomatoes chopped
- 2 tbsp red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 cup coriander leaves kothmir
- 3 cups white sauce
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- pepper powder mari
- 2 tsp margarine
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Cut bell peppers into halves and remove the seeds.
- Mix spaghetti, rice, tomatoes, chilli powder, chilli sauce, coriander leaves and salt. Stuff it in bell peppers.
- Place these stuffed bell peppers on a greased oven tray.
- Mix white sauce and tomato sauce. Add pepper powder and salt.
- Spread this sauce and margarine on bell peppers.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 180º C and serve.
