Caramel Apple Mousse Cake
Prepare this delicious Caramel Apple Mousse Cake, and spread the sweetness of His Grace to one and all.
Ingredients
For Cake: Dry ingredients:
- 1 apple peeled and chopped
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 cup powdered sugar
- 1⁄2 tsp baking soda
- 1⁄2 tsp baking powder
- 1⁄4 tsp cinnamon powder taj
- 1⁄4 tsp nutmeg powder jaifal
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp apple sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1⁄2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel dip
- 2 1⁄2 cups whipped cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1⁄2 cup caramel dip
- 1⁄2 cup toasted nuts
Instructions
Method:- 1. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.
- 2. Add the wet ingredients and stir.
- 3. Pour the mixture in a greased cake tin.
- 4. Bake in a preheated oven for 45-50 minutes at 180⁰C.
- 5. Cool the cake base and then horizontally slice it into 3-4 layers.
- 6. In a bowl, mix 1 cup of caramel dip and powdered sugar.
- 7. Add this mixture to the whipped cream and mix well.
- 8. Spread this mixture on each layer of the cake and stack them one above the other.
- 9. Spread the 1⁄2 cup caramel dip on the top layer of the cake and allow it to drip from the sides.
- 10. Decorate with toasted nuts.
