Baked Cottage Cheese Pie

Ingredients
For cottage cheese mixture:- 1 cup low fat cottage cheese paneer
- 4 tbsp low fat milk
- 4 tsp sugar
- few saffron strands kesar
- 1 cup apples sliced
- 4 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder jaifal
- few drops lemon juice
Instructions
- Dissolve the saffron strands in the low fat milk and set it aside.
- Then add sugar and low fat cottage cheese to it and mix in a blender to prepare a paste.
- To prepare the fruit stuffing, mix all the ingredients for the stuffing and set them aside for 20 minutes.
- Drain the water in fruit stuffing and place it in a 150 mm diameter greased pie plate.
- Uniformly spread the cottage cheese mixture over the fruit stuffing.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 220⁰C for about 15 minutes.
- Take out the pie and serve it warm.
- The pie can also be served with vanilla ice cream or custard.
