Ingredients

  • 1 raw mango
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 10-12 mint leaves
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon black salt
  • pinch of pepper powder
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Peel the raw mango and cut it into pieces.
  2. Heat one cup water in a pan and add mango pieces in it. Cook for around 10 minutes till the mangoes become soft. Alternatively, one can cook the whole raw mango in water and then take out the skin and pulp.
  3. After the mango cools down, put it in the blender. Add sugar, mint leaves, cumin powder, salt, black salt and pepper powder. Blend it to smooth consistency.
  4. Add the remaining cup of water.
  5. One can adjust sugar according to taste. Also, add more water if needed.
  6. Put ice cubes in a tall glass and pour aam panna in it.
  7. Garnish it with mint leaves.
