Volunteers distributed warm clothing to residents who are currently receiving housing support at a local YMCA hostel. These are vulnerable individuals who are trying to escape homelessness, and are supported in their journey and wellbeing by YMCA.
Alongside this, over 100 items of clothing were donated to Hertsmere Councils winter clothing drive; long johns, thermals, gloves, socks and jackets were among the items donated. These are provided for the needy in the Borehamwood area.
Additionally, a team of volunteers distributed warm clothing to over 120 homeless people and rough sleepers in icy temperatures in central London. Those present were touched by the gratitude of the homeless, and the positive outlook many had despite their condition.
