With an increasing spectrum of diseases, organ failures and accidents, the need for voluntary organ donation has become acute. We organised a session for over 150 staff members of a diamond jewellery unit to acquaint them with the benefits of organ donation and encouraged them to join this life saving initiative. A video on the importance and impact of organ donation touched the participants emotionally. The initiative was well received and will lead to more organ donors joining this cause thereby helping in bridging the gap between need and availability.
