Ahead of Raksha Bandhan, skill-building workshops were conducted to equip women and students with practical skills and entrepreneurial confidence.
Over the course of a month, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care conducted five workshops across slum communities and schools in Mumbai, covering Rakhi-making, chocolatemaking, packaging, hamper creation, pricing, and marketing.
Through the courses, participants were given the technical and soft skills needed to convert their handmade products into a sustainable source of income. 160 women and students participated across these sessions, with each participant gaining skills and confidence to take their craft further.
