We arranged for an Eye and ENT camp in Thika, Kenya in collaboration with Shree Jain Youth League through which about 7,500 people received free high-quality medical care. Medicines and treatments were provided for various conditions like cataracts, infections, cornea damage, keloids, foreign body removal etc. Procedures like septoplasty and tympanoplasty were also conducted during the camp. Over 600 surgeries were performed, 2,000-plus reading eyeglasses distributed as the camp benefitted 2-year-olds to 90-year-olds; alleviating their pain and discomfort.
