Inauguration of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur Borivali Spiritual Centre

Marking the opening of a Spiritual Centre in the western suburbs of Mumbai, Pujya Gurudevshri’s trip to Borivali signified the beginning of a new, divinely guided chapter. Across the three days of spiritual fiesta, the Master was reverently hosted by Suketu-Sonal Jhaveri.

A Splendid Inauguration

The Centre’s generous donors-Shirish-Bharati Mody and family, along with hundreds of devotees assembled in the pious presence of Pujya Gurudevshri as the inauguration began with the sacred kalash and ghauli rituals, invoking auspiciousness.

Amid joyous celebration and a shower of flowers, Pujya Gurudevshri, along with members of the Mody family, unveiled the Borivali Spiritual Centre name board followed by the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon. As the Master walked through the premises, each space was inaugurated and sanctified with floral offerings. In a touching moment, He inscribed, ‘Tvam Sharanam Namah’ in Gujarati on a classroom board.

After inscribing the multi-purpose hall with a shilalekh, Pujya Gurudevshri performed a devout pratishtha of Tirthankar Bhagwan, Param Krupalu Dev, and the sacred Charankamal. Eight panels bearing verses from Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra were unveiled, filling the hall with scriptural benedictions. Senior Sanyasi Atmarpit Nemiji shared heartfelt reflections, after which Pujya Gurudevshri graced the assembly by reading Patrank-375 from Shrimad Rajchandra Vachanamrut.

The celebrations concluded with bhakti, a stirring arti with core sevaks, and the inspiring event of six souls embracing Ajivan Brahmacharya Vrat, marking a truly memorable culmination.

An Enlightening Discourse

On the evening of March 14, Korakendra Open Ground witnessed a remarkable spiritual gathering as thousands of earnest seekers assembled for an inspiring pravachan by Pujya Gurudevshri. Serving rich spirituality, the Master guided seekers to turn inward, emphasising that true progress lies in inner transformation, rooted in right understanding, detachment, and self-awareness. Anchored in the refuge of a true Master, one gradually sheds attachments and moves closer to the soul’s pure nature.

The discourse was attended by many esteemed dignitaries from diverse fields, reflecting the wide-reaching impact of the Centre. The occasion also carried a note of gratitude, with dedicated sevaks being felicitated for their selfless service in bringing the Borivali Spiritual Centre to life.

A Spirited Samuhik Pratishtha Ceremony

Borivali rose to a spiritually charged peak as the Samuhik Pratishtha Ceremony unfolded in the presence of Pujya Gurudevshri. As melodious chants filled the air, an immense congregation of aspirants infused the atmosphere with devotion. Amid this elevating setting, Pujya Gurudevshri conferred the grace of consecration of the Divine upon 391 families; sanctifying their homes and kindling inner awakening.

Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, attended the pratishtha ceremony celebrations. The Hon’ble Minister reverently felicitated Pujya Gurudevshri with a shawl and garland, and he was honoured with an idol of Bhagwan Mahavir, a shawl, and a memento. Shri Sanjay Upadhyay, MLA, Borivali; Shri Dhaval Vora, Corporator and Minority Adhyaksh of North Mumbai and Shri Dhruv Goyal, son of Shri Piyush Goyal and CEO of FourLion Capital were also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Shri Piyush Goyal appreciated the spiritual and humanitarian initiatives of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur inspired by Param Krupalu Dev and guided by Pujya Gurudevshri.

Pious Padhramanis and Meetings


During His three-day stay in Borivali, Pujya Gurudevshri graced numerous homes through padhramanis. At the newly inaugurated Centre, He met elders and youth of the Borivali Raj Parivar, offering invaluable spiritual guidance.

Before departing from Borivali, Pujya Gurudevshri visited Shri Teenmurti Digambar Jain Mandir, where He offered Devvandan, performed pakshal, and shared serene moments of bhakti.

He then graced the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, spending cherished informal time over breakfast with the youth followed by heartfelt sharing. The gathering flowed into lively games and an expression of gratitude, concluding with a touching farewell that left young hearts uplifted and deeply connected.

Thanks to Param Krupalu Dev and Pujya Gurudevshri’s boundless grace, thousands will be inspired to take the inward journey toward freedom, eternal truth, and ultimate awakening through the Borivali Spiritual Centre.
