A National Platform for Veterinary Upskilling
In a progressive step towards strengthening veterinary practice in India, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s Educational Care and Animal Care programmes conducted intensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses at the Dharampur Ashram and Shrimad Rajchandra Jivamaitridham. Focused on advanced spinal care, fracture management, radiology, and internal medicine, the courses aimed to enhance clinical expertise through immersive, hands-on learning.
Led by esteemed faculties from the United Kingdom, including from the University of Glasgow, the six-day initiative brought together veterinarians from 15 states across India. Participants engaged in practical training, cadaveric surgical sessions, and interactive case discussions.
The neurology and orthopaedics courses emphasized surgical precision and clinical application, while the radiology and internal medicine sessions focused on diagnostic reasoning and decision-making. A key highlight was the courses’ strong emphasis on experiential learning, enabling participants to actively perform procedures and analyse real clinical scenarios under expert guidance.
Beyond skill-building, the programme served as a vibrant national platform for professional exchange, bringing together veterinarians from diverse regions. It reflected a broader commitment to advancing veterinary education in India through global collaborations and practical training models.
Aligned with its vision, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care continues to build pathways for high-quality veterinary care, complemented by initiatives such as the upcoming Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Hospital in Dharampur – set to further strengthen infrastructure and specialised treatment capabilities in the region.
