Naming and Inauguration Ceremony of Shrimad Rajchandra Marg in Surat: Honouring the glorious occasion of the 153rd Raj Jayanti, by the inspiration of Pujya Gurudevshri, the Surat Municipal Corporation renamed Canal road on Surat-Dumas main road, as ‘Shrimad Rajchandra Marg’. Amidst great enthusiasm, the inaugural stone and signboard were unveiled by the Deputy Mayor, Shri Niravbhai Shah and MLA, Smt. Zankhanaben Patel in the presence of esteemed dignitaries. Awards and Citations Received by Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2020: By the grace of Shrimad Rajchandraji and the guidance of Pujya Gurudevshri, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care has once again received a momentous line-up of awards and honours for their outstanding fundraising performance at the Tata Mumbai Marathon, earlier this year. The event was held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai in the presence of the Honourable Governor of Maharashtra. The awards received are – Highest Fundraising NGO Since its initial participation at the Mumbai Marathon a decade ago in 2011, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care has bagged the Highest Fundraising NGO title every year thereafter. And 2020 was no different. Amongst the 295 participating NGOs that collectively raised ₹ 45.90 crore, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care single-handedly raised ₹ 7.5 crore, making it the Highest Fundraising NGO for the 10th consecutive year. Highest Fundraiser in the History of the Mumbai Marathon, Highest Individual Fundraiser in 2020, and Change Legend. In memory of Late Sarvarpit Dhaval Mehta and to honour his legacy of selfless service, people from across the world contributed towards his fundraising page, raising over a staggering ₹ 2.43 crore. Thus he became the highest individual fundraiser in the history of the Mumbai Marathon In recognition of this achievement, he was posthumously honoured with the title ‘Change Legend’ at the Mumbai Marathon 2020 and has received 2 awards, for Highest Individual Fundraiser in the 2020 Mumbai Marathon, and the Highest Fundraiser ever in the history of the Mumbai Marathon. Change Icon Trophy: The Change Icon trophy was awarded to Vanprastha Abhaybhai Jasani – President, Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur for raising ₹ 50 lakhs. Change Champion Trophy (2): The Change Champion trophy was awarded to two individuals, Vanprastha Mridulaben Jasani and Sarvarpit Reshma Jain, for fundraising over ₹ 25 lakhs, each. Highest Fundraising Young Leader: Anyssa Kothari at the age of 11 years, fundraised over ₹ 10 lakh, thus becoming the highest fundraising Young Leader from the 124 Young Leaders, this year. NGO with Highest Number of Young Leaders: 33 Young Leaders passionately supported Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care making it the NGO with the highest number of Young Leaders. Highest Number of Change Runners in the Young Leaders category: Over 9 enthusiastic Young Leaders raised over ₹ 150,000 each making it the highest number of Change Runners in the Young Leaders category by any NGO this year. Highest Number of Change Runners: More than 59 Change Runners i.e. individuals who raise ₹ 1.5 lakhs for their NGO, supported Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care at the 2020 Tata Mumbai Marathon. NGO with Highest Number of Corporate Teams: With the support of 47 corporate teams, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care once again became the most trusted NGO for Corporate India – winning this award for the 8th year in a row. NGO with the Most Charity Bib Runners: 187 charity bib runners supported the noble cause of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, making it the NGO with the highest number of Charity Bib runners. Highest Fundraising NGO in the Health Category: With volunteers raising funds for the construction of the upcoming new hospital in Dharampur, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care received a citation as the highest fundraising NGO in the Health category.
