Ashram Culture

The Ashram is a sacred space providing a conducive atmosphere for coming closer to your True Self. Keeping in mind this higher purpose, certain guidelines regarding your stay in the Ashram have been provided for your convenience. We hope they help to enhance your experience and discipline your mind.

General Guidelines

  • You are requested to keep your mobile phones on silent mode and not use them in public, even for messaging or for emails throughout your stay in the Ashram. Kindly switch them off during sessions.
  • Please note that photography is not permitted in the Ashram, except in the Amphitheatre and Community Garden.
  • It is mandatory to wear white clothes during shibirs and sadhana bhattis. Please ensure that your clothing is respectable – avoid wearing shorts and sleeveless clothes in the Ashram.
  • Kindly contact the Donations desk in the Registration office, if you wish to make any contributions.
  • The Ashram Management will take utmost care of all seekers. However, in the event of any injury or death during one’s stay in the Ashram, the responsibility of the same will lie solely with the seeker.
  • Should the Ashram Management find any of the guidelines not being adhered to, they reserve the right to take suitable action with respect to the same.
Meeting Pujya Gurudevshri
  • Pujya Gurudevshri will grant personal meetings at the Ashram (For spiritual guidance only). Kindly email at the below email address. Only requests considered important by Pujya Gurudevshri will be answered.

  • Please wear the pass at all times in the Ashram.
  • Please observe celibacy in the Ashram.
  • Please switch off the lights, fans and AC in the room, when not in use.
  • Please register any complaints related to repairs and maintenance at the Registration office at the New Dining Complex.
  • Please refrain from eating after sunset in the Ashram.
  • Kindly consume only Jain food in the Ashram premises. Please refrain from consuming non-vegetarian food, drinking alcohol and smoking.
  • Participants observing ayambil are requested to collect a coupon for the same from the Registration Office before 9:00 am that day.
  • Please do not bring your own food in the dining hall. If you need to do so because of an illness, please eat your meal at the separate, designated area in the dining hall.
  • There is a cafeteria at the Administrative Block as well as at the New Dining Complex.

Other Facilities

  • Medical and healthcare facilities are available at the Healthcare Centre in the Administrative Block.
    Timings: 8:30 am – 9:00 am and 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Kindly contact Atmarpit Dr Heeralbhai (09820046426) or Atmarpit Dr Rashmiben (09082154407) in case of an emergency.
  • You may also avail the medical services at Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital (02633-242010)
  • Books, Audio and Video products, chitrapats etc., may be purchased from the Divine Shop located in the Administrative Block. Mosquito nets, Odomos and locks are also available. Sales Timings: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Community Garden: There is a Community Garden that has something for all age groups, from toddlers to the youth and also the elderly.
    Timings: 5:00 am – 10:30 pm
  • Fitness Centre: State-of-the-art gym facilities are available on a paid basis.
    Timings: 5:00 am – 9:00 am | 11:00 am – 7:00 pm | 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm
  • Recreational Centre: Recreational facilities are available to rejuvenate the mind and body.
    Timings: 9:00 am to 10:30 pm
  • ATM: An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is available at the lower level of the New Dining Complex for your convenience.
Lost Property
  • If you find any unclaimed valuable item in the Ashram premises, please hand over the same to the sevak at the Registration office.
  • Should any valuable items be lost, you may enquire with the Lost Property department at the Registration office at the New Dining Complex.
    Timings: 8:30 am to 9:00 am and 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Lost property items should be collected within a month, after which they will be disposed.
  • The Management will not be responsible for anything that has been forgotten or lost in the Ashram.
