Rajgita Jnan Yajna – Illuminating the Path of Liberation Pujya Gurudevshri’s immense passion for the devotees’ spiritual upliftment is experienced in numerous ways, including the soul-stirring Rajgita Jnan Yajnas. By exploring the deep treasures of the poetic masterpiece of Param Krupalu Dev, Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra, the Master is compassionately leading seekers to the shores of liberation. Refreshing the Wisdom Through Quizzes Seekers revisited and tested their understanding of the fourth and fifth Fundamental Truths through quizzes conducted at the Ashram. The overjoyed participants of the quiz were Yuvarpits (Harit Presswala, Arya Shah; Shiv Jasani, Sachi Jhaveri); Jivanarpits (Manav Khara, Anushka Tikka; Jatan Haria, Aditi Chheda); Hridayarpits (Pratik Pasad, Hetali Doshi; Shalin Shah, Disha Daga); Sarvarpits (represented by Vanprastha Piyush Shah, Manju Doshi; Raj Choksi, Jimisha Avlani); Sharnarpits (represented by Vanprastha Dr Atul Shah, Rita Sheth; Anish Gala, Reena Mehta) and the NRI-Outstation team (Utkarsh Doshi, Malaika Jhaveri; Raj Sanghavi, Suhani Doshi). Ripples of excitement were seen across the globe as seekers, young and old, geared up to participate in online quizzes. With more than 800 logins, 50 teams and 193 participants from over the world, the online quizzes were a strong medium of connection; conducted by swadhyaykars including Atmarpits Rajuji, Smrutiji, Shivaniji, Siddhiji and Vidhiji. The youngest participant was 11-year old Aarav Shah from Dallas, USA who answered wonderfully to make his team bag the first position. Another participant was 74-year old Arvind Doshi from Vadodara, India who went beyond the barriers of age and language to participate in the quiz and express his devotion for Pujya Gurudevshri. The Sublime Seventh Rajgita Jnan Yajna Having imbibed the first five Fundamental Truths, seekers looked forward to absorbing the sixth Fundamental Truth – There is a Path of Liberation. Mumukshus from India and USA were blessed to light the holy lamp. The disciple now wonders whether it is possible to annihilate karmas accumulated since infinite lifetimes in just one short lifespan. Variety of philosophies, caste and attire, pose another challenge as he cannot fathom which amongst them leads to liberation. Sure of the Guru’s compassion and capacity to solve all his doubts, he pleads Him to show the path of liberation. Blessing the disciple with a loving assurance that he shall attain the path of liberation, the True Teacher explains that the darkness of ignorance of the Self is destroyed by the light of knowledge. Attachment, aversion and ignorance are the main knots of karmas; the means through which these can be destroyed is the path of liberation. Deluding karma is the chief of all karmas; enlightenment and dispassion are the sure antidotes for eliminating the faith and conduct deluding karmas respectively. The True Teacher also shows the complete path of liberation, right from the foundational virtues till omniscience. Through concluding pinnacle-like verses the True Teacher then explains the essence of dharma and the nature of the Self. Pujya Gurudevshri’s discourses were explained by Atmarpit Rajuji in Gujarati to those not conversant with English. Expressing Adulation for Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra with a Devout Pujan Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra was composed on Aso Vad Ekam of V.S. 1952. In this 125th year, a pujan is held at the Ashram on every Vad Ekam to celebrate this momentous occasion. On Jeth Vad Ekam, June 25, a vibrant pujan was conducted, adhering to the COVID norms of masking and social distancing. Pujya Gurudevshri lovingly venerated Param Krupalu Dev and Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra. 12 pairs of seekers performed pujan of the 12 sections of the pious text, amidst soulful and meditative bhakti. Commemorating 125 years of Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra, 125 animals were rescued from slaughterhouses and placed in safe animal shelters. Each heart bows at the Lotus Feet of Param Krupalu Dev and Pujya Gurudevshri for filling our lives with the fragrance of Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra.
