Pune Centre Donates Personal Care Items to Women in Prison International Women’s Day recognises women regardless of any divisions, whether national, political, ethnic, linguistic, cultural or economic. However, those women away from their families and behind bars are often forgotten. On this occasion we reached out to the women prisoners confined in Yerawada jail and donated 300 daily toiletry essential kits. Each kit consisted of soap, powder, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair oil, comb, etc. which shall help them in their daily lives. These items were handed over to the jail officials who in turn distributed them to the inmates.
