Dr Kah-Jin Jeffrey Kuan, President Emeritus and Senior Advisor to the President at the Claremont School of Theology said that bestowal of the degree holds a profound significance, not only for the Jain community but for the entire nation. Pujya Gurudevshri’s special distinction as the first recipient from India and the inaugural beneficiary from a non-Christian faith within the institution’s 130-year history amplifies the importance of the occasion, leaving an illuminating trail of inspiration for generations to come.
Addressing the assembly, Dr Nitin Shah, Trustee of Claremont School of Theology, complimented Pujya Gurudevshri for His role as a spiritual luminary. He highlighted the work of the Mission and the transformative impact of His wisdom and benevolent initiatives that are uplifting lives across the globe.
A wave of awe and admiration swept the audience as the Master adorned the Doctoral gown and tam while receiving the certificate. In a gesture brimming with humility and devotion, Pujya Gurudevshri respectfully offered the certificate and tam at the lotus feet of Param Krupalu Dev.
