Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care conducts various vocational training courses free of cost to empower women from the weaker sections of the society. Recently, a Basic Beauty Course was conducted in Mumbai for training the less-privileged women in beauty parlour related skills. Spread over a period of three months, 35 women enrolled for this course conducted by professional beauty and make-up artists. The participants learnt 10 modules including threading, eyebrows, waxing, bleach, facial, manicure, pedicure, hair-cuts, hair colour, hair mehendi and hair oil massage through an interactive session followed by a practice session for hands-on experience. To mark completion of this course, a special make-up session was organised where each participant received a certificate of completion.

Some of the students of the course have already started taking orders or found jobs in beauty parlours. Such initiatives are empowering women from weaker sections towards a life of respect and confidence.
