Paryushan Parva 2022 (Wed, 24 – Wed, 31 Aug, 2022):

  • Celebrations at Yogi Sabhagruh:
    • The venue for Paryushan Parva 2022 celebrations will be Yogi Sabhagruh, Mumbai.
    • The morning sessions will begin with joyous Snatra puja after which Pujya Gurudevshri will elucidate upon Adhyay 1 Valli 3 of Shri Kathopanishad.
    • The evening sessions will begin with diverse spiritual practices, followed by Pujya Gurudevshri’s pravachans on Patrank – 901 of Shrimad Rajchandra Vachanamrut.
    • Timings during Paryushan are as follows:
      • Morning: 7:00 am – 9:30 am; Hall entry starts at 6:15 am
      • Evening: 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm; Hall entry starts at 6:45 pm
    • Timings and events for the Samvatsari day Wed, 31 Aug, 2022 are as follows:
      • Morning: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm – Snatra puja and pravachan
      • Afternoon: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Samvatsarik Bhaav Pratikraman
    • Chauvihar facility for the first seven days of Paryushan and Ekasna facility for the Samvatsari day will be available.
    • Coupons may be bought from Yogi Sabhagruh and online starting Sunday, 21 August, 2022.
  • Paryushan Parva at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur:
    • Schedule for those observing Paryushan Parva at the Ashram:

    • Swamivatsalya has been arranged for all the 8 days of Paryushan Parva at Dharampur Ashram.
    • Those who would be coming to the Ashram for Paryushan Parva are requested to register themselves on the website in advance.

  • Online YouTube sessions for children by Shrimad Rajchandra Divinetouch:
    • For children aged 8 and above, online YouTube sessions by the name ‘The Dharma Toolkit’ will be conducted by Shrimad Rajchandra Divinetouch. Through the medium of interesting activities like stories, worksheets, bhakti, etc. children will be taught the four important aspects of Jainism namely – Daan, Sheel, Tapa, and Bhaav.

Forthcoming Activities in the Ashram:

  • Satsang Shibir and Celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – (Sat, 13 – Mon, 15 Aug, 2022):
    • ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav encourages people to bring the Tiranga (tri-coloured Indian flag) home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
    • All global centres of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur are participating in this campaign with great enthusiasm.
    • Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur will have a 3-day celebration to celebrate the historic milestone, as follows:
      • The Tiranga will be hoisted at all buildings and balconies within the Ashram.
      • Two special evening programmes will highlight the diverse culture, language, saints and heroes of every part of India, as follows:
        • Sat, 13 Aug 2022: East and West India
        • Sun, 14 Aug 2022: North and South India
      • Attendees may wear region-specific clothing for the celebration events.

Awards and honours won during USA-Canada Dharmayatra:

  • In the course of Pujya Gurudevshri’s recent USA-Canada Dharmayatra, He was awarded several honours and accolades for His contribution in the spiritual upliftment of the world, as well as various social welfare initiatives. These have been offered at the Lotus Feet of Param Krupalu Dev as below:
    • Proclamation by the Mayor of New York, Eric Adams: Declaring 15 July in New York as “Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care Day.”
    • Congressional record awarded by US Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi in Chicago.
    • Proclamation awarded by US Congressman Danny K Davis in Chicago.
    • Two Certificates of Recognition from the California Legislative Assembly awarded by California State representatives Sharon Quirk-Silva and Richard Bloom.
    • Certificate of Recognition by the Arizona House of Representatives – awarded by representative Dr. Amish Shah in Phoenix.
    • Letter of Recognition from the Mayor of Phoenix, Kate Gallego, extending congratulations on the inauguration of Shri Atmasiddhi Bhavan in Greater Phoenix.

  • The next pravachan at Yogi Sabhagruh will be held on the first day of Paryushan Parva – Wednesday, 24 August, 2022 at 7:00 am.
