Calcium Rich Parathas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 2 drumsticks saragvani sing
  • 1⁄4 cup red millet flour nachni
  • 1 & 1⁄2 tsp chilli paste
  • 1 & 1⁄2 cups coriander leaves
  • 1 & 1⁄2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1⁄2 tsp roasted cumin seeds
  • 1⁄2 tsp turmeric powder haldi
  • salt to taste
  • oil
  • water

Instructions

  1. Cut drumsticks in pieces and boil till they become soft.
  2. Separate the pulp. Add 11⁄2 cup water to it and heat.
  3. Add chilli paste, coriander leaves, sesame seeds, salt, turmeric powder and cumin seeds. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  4. Add red millet and wheat flour. Stir till it becomes dry.
  5. Transfer it in a bowl. Cool it to room temperature.
  6. Knead well. Roll out parathas using little oil.
  7. Cook parathas on a tava till they are golden brown.
