SRMD Yoga Initiatives

SRMD Yoga aims to bring light, love and peace to the world through the ancient Indian art of yoga. Rooted in spirituality and grounded in tradition, SRMD Yoga brings practitioners closer to themselves and cultivates service-oriented hearts.

SRMD Yoga is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance and is also registered with the esteemed Indian Yoga Association (IYA) as an Associate Centre. It is accredited with two ISO Certifications namely ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 21001:2018, and the Yoga Certification Board, (YCB) Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has also approved SRMD Yoga as a Yoga Training Centre.

Here are some of the recent and ongoing initiatives of SRMD Yoga:

SRMD Yoga Collaboration with Satvic Movement


Satvic Movement is a non-profit health education platform, formed with an aim to bring man close to Mother Nature. It provides holistic knowledge about health, based on scriptures, and delivers this knowledge through Health Transformation Workshops, YouTube videos and the Food Book.

Head of SRMD Yoga, Atmarpit Shraddhaji was invited as a guest trainer in Satvic Movement’s 21 Day Challenge, led by Yoga Guru and counsellor Radhika Gupta. The online session had an audience of around 18,000. Atmarpit Shraddhaji conducted ‘Bhav Pranayama’ based on letting go of fear and letting in faith, followed by performing Yoga asanas using chair as a prop.

SRMD Yoga at CAFE Women’s Career Expo, Kolkata


‘Women’s Career Expo’, was a first-of-its-kind program by Career After Family Enterprise (CAFE) enabling and empowering aspiring Entrepreneurs to start up, scale up and reach for bigger goals. CAFE is a non-profit initiative which provides a platform for women to learn skills, grow confidence and network with likeminded women, after family and kids have settled.

The Expo was held at Taj Bengal, Kolkata and attracted hundreds of visitors. SRMD Yoga’s stall was designed as a perfect invitation for ladies to enhance their knowledge about yoga. Guests were gifted a complimentary online class and a fragrant packet of Raj Uphaar incense sticks.

SRMD Yoga at the Nehru Centre, London and Indian Consulate of Chicago


The month of April witnesses SRMD Yoga conducting sessions at the Nehru Centre, London – the Cultural Outreach of The High Commission of India in UK. The session aims to help employees get a fitness break during their busy workdays.

SRMD Yoga is also conducting a six week ‘Stiff to Stillness’ series in collaboration with the Indian Consulate of Chicago for online sessions to be held every Sunday morning for the participants to experience stillness and peace through Yoga practices.

SRMD Yoga Hour


Apart from various collaborations, the SRMD Yoga Hour continues to provide practical benefits of Yoga. It is a daily, online, relaxing and rejuvenating one-hour yoga class hosted by yoga teachers from across the globe. This is your time to joyfully reconnect with yourself, step out of your comfort zone and release mental clutter and physical fatigue. Expect uplifting asanas, energising pranayama and joyful meditations; all merging together into a full-spectrum experience.

Through social media SRMD Yoga has reached out to health enthusiasts the world over. On Instagram, it has over 109 posts and 20,000 followers. On YouTube, SRMD Yoga’s nearly 150 videos – comprising of short as well as long videos – in seven languages (English, Hindi, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese and German) have garnered over 18 million views. The short videos – of 3-7 minutes – are clips on yoga for different parts of the body, easy to follow tips for weight loss, stress and anxiety. The long videos – 30-45 minutes – are videos on topics like power yoga workout, yoga to strengthen the back, yoga for boosting energy.
