Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth Develops a Unique Industrial Immersion Programme For students of the science stream, it is crucial to integrate theoretical and academic knowledge gained in the classroom with practical application to real-life challenges in the industry and field of research and development. As part of the holistic curriculum at Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, over 75 students of the 3rd year BSc. course successfully completed an industrial immersion programme through which they were exposed to some of the best scientific methods and to diverse corporate cultures of various companies. The 9-day programme saw students undergo a rigorous training and immersion exercise at leading companies such as Pidilite Industries Ltd., Swati Spentose Pvt. Ltd., Inject Care Parenterals Pvt. Ltd. and Megafine Pharma Ltd. During their stint the students observed diverse aspects of a business, ranging from operation of industrial instruments to large-scale chemical processes, standard operating procedures to back end management and administration. Additionally, students understood the importance of soft skills in the workplace such as efficient communication, teamwork and time management. Students also greatly benefitted from the personal guidance and mentorship provided by the employees of these companies. The industrial immersion programme is a unique training offered by Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth for students to widen their horizon and to get an exposure to the industries they aspire to build a career in.
