In Communion with Jainism – Online Exhibition

Specially organised by the children of Arhat Touch, ‘In Communion with Jainism’ is an annual exhibition for people of all ages that aims to answer the ‘why’s’ and ‘what’s’ of Jainism in a logical, scientific and practical manner.

700 children from 30 Shrimad Rajchandra Divinetouch centres across the world conducted 66 exhibitions, each having 8 online stalls. Interesting interactive exercises, stunning visuals and introspective questions made the exhibitions lively. With the Shrimad Rajchandra Divinetouch Alumni contributing in the planning and execution, thousands of lives were touched.

The 8 stalls were:

1. Obeisance to Panch Parmeshthi
The children unravelled mysteries of shape, sound and colour of the Jain Aum through the concept of a mystery room and enjoyed a dance activity on the lanchhans of 24 Tirthankars.

2. Karma Café
The karma theory was demonstrated through games and edutainment at Karma Café; where you are served with what you deserve.

3. Journey of the Soul
The soul’s passage through times immemorial was exemplified through a flight around the Universe, and various causes and effects of the 4 Gatis were depicted.

4. 6 Leshyas
The leshyas, or our state of mind, were brought to life through a quiz, character play and a fun gesture challenge.

5. 9 Tattvas
The pivotal concept of the 9 Tattvas was explained through the analogy of a boat ride.

6. Revel in Resplendent Rituals
Children conveyed that visiting the temple to perform rituals is more than a physical journey; it is an inner journey towards the Lord.

7. In Tune with the Arhats
By discovering soul-stirring meanings behind stutis and sutras, the audience could connect to the Lord at a deeper level.

8. Jain Festivals
Spirits sky-rocketed on seeing short video of Jain festivals, including the monarch of all festivals – Paryushan Mahaparva.

Dispelling myths, discovering philosophical treasures, dancing to devotional tunes and decoding practices, the virtual exhibition created a wave of transformation.
