Idar – Chitroda Dharmayatra 2023

Idar, the holy land once sanctified by Shrimad Rajchandraji, was blessed with the presence of Pujya Gurudevshri on His first dharmayatra of the New Year on 4 January, 2023. Accompanied by several NRI mumukshus, He arrived at Shrimad Rajchandra Vihar Dham on the mountains of Ghantiya. Soon upon ascending the hill, everyone performed vandan and arti at Jinmandir and Gurudmandir; followed by an evening filled with devotion and nrutyabhakti. The gathered listened to a reading of Param Krupalu Dev’s visit to the holy land of Idar; as well as spiritual practices performed by Pujya Gurudevshri there.

The morning started with bhakti, followed by vandan of Param Krupalu Dev’s pratimaji on the rooftop. Sites where Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji had performed spiritual practices were graced with sthapnas of His chitrapats. The sacred spaces included Shri Bhura Bawa Ni Gufa, Shri Mahakaleshwar Mahadev, Shri Chandaneshwar Mahadev, Shri Khokhanath Mahadev and Shri Ramdwar Mandir. Pujya Gurudevshri also visited Digambar temples in the surrounding areas.

The Master blessed the multitude of inhabitants in Idar with an elevating pravachan. The discourse was attended by dignitaries such as the head of Idar Nagarpalika Shri Jaisinhbhai Dawar; Nagarik and Chairman Shri J D Chauhan and Dr Pratik Mehta.

Pujya Gurudevshri continued His journey by gracing the villages of Sapavda, Kukadia and Narsinghpur.

Thousands of inhabitants of Chitroda and nearby villages flocked to welcome and get a glimpse of Pujya Gurudevshri’s divine countenance. The visit turned into a grand procession – a devotional celebration.

The late evening programme comprised bhakti with Nimitbhai and the young devotees of Idar expressing their devotion to the Master in the form of nrutyabhakti. Shri Ramanlal Vora, an MLA, especially came to offer his obeisances to Pujya Gurudevshri.

Later, in Idar, the residence of Shri Badwantbhai and Urmilaben Sutaria was blessed with pratishtha. Shri Bharatbhai and Deenaben Vankar had the laabh of Pujya Gurudevshri’s padhramani.

Pujya Gurudevshri proceeded to Badoli, Navi Vasahat, Godhamji and Brahmapuri. Pujan of about 50 chitrapats of Param Krupalu Dev was performed – each chitrapat now resides in the homes and hearts of these villagers. A one-kilometre-long shobhayatra ensued as the spiritually charged devotees beheld their Master and marched through their village.

Shri Lalji Bapa Smruti Mandir was inaugurated by the revered hands of Pujya Gurudevshri. Here, the Master performed pious prathishtha of Shri Mahavirswami Bhagwan, Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji and also of Shri Laljibapa and Shri Nathurambapa. An exhibit with inspiring events in the life of Param Krupali Dev was also unveiled at the Mandir.

Pujya Gurudevshri also blessed Shri Kiranbhai and Bhavanaben Shah’s residence with pratishtha. Later, Pujya Gurudevshri’s heart-touching pravachan inspired seekers to make the most of their life in the pursuit of spirituality. The devotees’ hearts brimmed with gratitude as Shri Kiranbhai delivered a sincere vote of thanks.
