The 2022 drive was launched by Pujya Gurudevshri, as He blessed the notebooks and materials to be distributed as a part of this initiative. Over the months of May and June, more than 20,00,000 notebooks and 30,000 stationery items like school bags and writing pads were made available to the less-privileged. The drive was conducted at 40 centres in and around Dharampur. Distribution was also undertaken through more than 50 centres across India, covering cities like Ahmedabad, Amravati, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Navsari, Pune, Rajkot, and Vadodara and states of Bihar, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Over 2,00,000 students benefitted from this initiative by getting quality educational aids at highly subsidised rates. This provided much needed relief to the families of the students, especially in the aftermath of the pandemic which adversely impacted rural livelihoods.
An interesting aspect of this drive was the wide participation of sevaks – keen children of the Samarpit age-group, passionate youth and the young-at-heart elderly Charnarpits took part in the initiative. Their enthusiasm in making this drive a resounding success is indeed worth appreciating.
