Summer Retreat for Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul Students
Adding joy and inspiration to their lives, close to 200 students from Standard 9 to 11 from Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul came together for a summer retreat held for them at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur.

Through sessions on team-building conducted by Atmarpit Siddhiji, students learnt interdependence. During goal-setting sessions conducted by Atmarpit Fagunji, students were encouraged to dream big while setting their goals, and were taught how to make action plans for achieving them. An exercise on vision board making helped students reinforce their goals by creating a visual representation of them. An interactive discussion with Atmarpit Rajuji motivated the group to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.

The students were taken on a tour of the upcoming 250-bed Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre, during which they were exposed to cutting-edge medical facilities from across the world which were being brought to their local hospital. They also thoroughly enjoyed visiting the magnificent Jinmandir, where they participated in an elevating arti.

An early morning yoga practice helped rejuvenate them, while an array of sports such as football, tug-of-war, etc. received enthusiastic participation from all.

The highlight of the retreat was when students expressed their love and gratitude towards Pujya Gurudevshri through devotional dedications and performances. Through a skit students demonstrated how famous personalities overcame difficulties by maintaining a positive attitude. A mime act depicted the importance of the environment. Special dance performances including a yoga dance, garba dance, and Dangi dance were met with great appreciation from the audience, and Atmarpit Nemiji also joined the dance celebrations with the students. During the photo session, students had the wonderful opportunity of getting pictures taken with the Divine Master.

The retreat was an unforgettable event for all, and students returned home with memories that they will cherish for a very long time!
