Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care at the AAPI Global Healthcare Summit

The 15th edition of the annual Global Healthcare Summit organised by the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) was held in Hyderabad with a commitment to continue efforts towards improving preventive care in India, and to collaborate with the central, state, and local governments, healthcare and technological industries, as well as with several not-for-profit organisations to help make Indian healthcare delivery accessible, efficient, and affordable. Trustees of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care-USA – Dr. Aarti Shah and Mitesh Kamdar, and Development Director of Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital – Aspi Minocher attended the summit.

AAPI intends to collaborate with the healthcare leaders in proposing the creation of an Indian Preventive Task Force (IPTF). Recommendations of IPTF would be promoted and implemented as a part of the annual physical exam and telemedicine visit at government hospitals and primary care centres. This forum assimilated participants’ views about the current state of healthcare in India, built a stage to interact with a varied and distinct group of individuals and corporations, and comprehended the complex dynamics of the commerce of healthcare enterprises. In this forum, AAPI perceived, debated, and walked towards a common goal of ‘Preventive medicine is better than Cure’. AAPI intends to promote preventive care guidelines in India by collaborating with Indian physicians, pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic labs, medical device companies, hospital chains, and public health experts. Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care has been included in this think-tank of 15 industry professionals and a proposal will be made based on its recommendations.
