Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre Invited to Conduct a National Level Training

The medical team from Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre was invited by the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) to conduct training on Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) for trainers from across India. The team included an ophthalmologist, optometrist and paediatric physiotherapists, who explained and demonstrated early identification, assessment and therapeutic interventions for CVI. They also elucidated on the importance of having an holistic approach to treatment.

Distinguished medical professionals including Dr Arun Singh – National Advisor, RBSK and Dr Linda Lawrence – Eminent Expert in CVI, appreciated the method of training employed by the team and requested them to conduct more courses in the near future.
